Look from Microsoft Outlook to Gmail or Windows Mail to Thunderbird. And yes, I could keep going, but I won't. The fact is, there are more than 30 different email clients that your potential customer could be using.

That means 30 plus lenses that your prospect leads, and customers could be reading your email through, and guess what? Each of these clients displays emails in an entirely different way. Well, that just got weird and difficult.

For instance, an email that looks perfectly fine on Gmail may not render properly on Microsoft Outlook and vice versa. Now to add to this complexity, more than 50% of people read emails through their mobile devices. Okay, raise your hand if that's you. Do you check your email on mobile devices? Maybe I'll raise both hands.

As a marketer, How can you make sure your email appears properly to all your friend's contacts? Well, it's a simple answer. Test, test test! And that's precisely what we're going to show you how to do in this HubSpot tutorial. Are you ready? Then let's dive into our HubSpot hub and test the crap out of our email and hit that send button with authority.

So you've been working hard on getting the email done to precisely what you want it to be. But you're ready to send it out to folks but first hit the brakes.

How do you test your email? Well, the first thing you should do is send a test email. This is where you're going to be able to select an individual or several individuals that you can send the email to so that they can look at it.

Just know it's going to come from no-reply at HubSpot when you are doing these preview emails. You can see the details right up and learn more about it, and you can receive the email as a specific contact as you want. Or this is where you can send a plain text version. Most of you will pick a couple of people to send this to, and you'll send a test email.

Human eyes are always amazing, but there are also some technical things that you're going to want to look at when it comes to your emails. So you're going to see up here in the right-hand corner under actions where you can hit this preview. Now the first thing you get to when you're at preview is the ability to see it on mobile devices.

So this is your iPad, this is your phone, and you can scroll through each of these. You can see how does that email looks when it is on those devices. Again, you can also select and preview it as an individual contact so you can test your personalization in this as well.

But this is not where it stops. Again, human eyes are good mobile devices are great. But you can see up here at the top there are clients and you can click in here on clients, and now they set popular email clients.

But let's say you have somebody on Lotus 7.5 or nine or Lotus eight or some random email provider. There is a ton of email options that you can open up, and you can select what you want to test upon.

Once you have those selected, you can test your email in this right top hand button here and test my email now. Now you can go away from this page as it's running your tests. If you decide you're done, you can cancel your test. But you can walk away do other things work in the HubSpot tool, and it's going to work on giving you a preview of those email clients.

Now, not only do you have to humanize, not only do you have mobile devices, but now you can see email service providers that you don't even have access to what that email will look like when delivered. Once they get done rendering the preview, you're going to be able to see you can have image blocking on, so you see what it looks like when your images aren't showing up. Here it's the logo that's missing out, but then you can navigate through the different email service providers you've picked to make sure the email looks exactly how you want or at least close enough to good for those of users.

Again, it is all about the reader's experience when it comes to those emails.

Remember, check your clients, check your devices, as well as make sure you're sending a test email to several people on your team so that your emails are amazing when you're sending them out of the HubSpot email tool.

So there you have it three ways that you can test your emails in your HubSpot Hub and stress less.

Make these steps part of your email process as you move forward. Do I have to ask you how else do you test your email? We'd love to know, so let us know.
